We exist to close the distance between the two: one family, one student, one scholar at a time.
Our purpose
Rouben Malian kept his word, refused to give up, and when the odds were long but the cause was right, he placed the bet.
Created in his memory in 2018, the Foundation works the same way. We build a small number of initiatives, fund them in full, and stay with them for the long term: from a family’s lean month, to a student’s first laptop, to the choice of a school or a career, to the return home after Harvard.
Flagship initiatives
Each is built and funded by the Foundation, held to the standard of the name it carries, and designed to last a generation.
Education across the lifespan
Expert educational guidance, from a first school choice at eleven to a new chapter at eighty. Built on evidence and independent human review, and priced so that no one is ever priced out.
Australia and Harvard
Since 1968, more than one hundred Australians have studied at Harvard as R.G. Menzies Scholars and come home to serve. The Foundation fully funds the community that keeps them connected, and carries the next generation forward.
